Cinco De Mayo will be held on Saturday, May 6th from 10a.m. to 4p.m. between the 4400 and 4900 blocks of Wyandotte St. E. The event is free to attend and is open to all ages. We hope to see you there!
The April showers are dwindling, which means it’s time to welcome the warmth and sunshine of May. And what better way to kick off May than with Cinco de Mayo? We are happy to announce this culturally significant and lively event is returning to the Pillette Village!
The festival will be more animated than ever this year, featuring:
- A petting zoo (1p.m. – 3p.m.)
- A bouncy castle (11a.m. – 2p.m.)
- Pony rides (12p.m. – 3p.m)
- Face painting (all day)
- Authentic, quality Mexican cuisine (all day)
- A live performance by TJ the DJ (all day)
We will also be introducing two new faces this year: Salvador the Singing Gaucho, who will be performing from 12:30p.m. to 2p.m., and Carlos the Miniature Burro, who will be available for photos between 12p.m. and 3p.m.
Shoppers will enjoy this year’s assortment of vendors, who will be offering an eclectic mix of goods and crafts, including vintage items, candles, jewelry, and more.
